Ok, so I realize that my situation is unique as an art teacher, and that not everyone covers their tables before an art project. But I really wanted to share this idea so that maybe you will be inspired by the beauty of the mess that is leftover after an art project is completed. Maybe next time your kids paint, you will lay down some paper so you can start collecting — even newspaper works great!

I get my brown paper and white paper
rolls from Amazon. I also use newsprint rolls from Ikea, and newspaper. Sometimes I leave the paper on for several classes in a row so it gets full of layered, delicious color.
I was able to save enough to wrap all of the presents for my kids under the tree. We woke to the most beautiful, artsy Christmas morning ever!

PS: On the tree are some handmade things, like multi-colored pom-poms, felt garland, and 3D snowflakes.
Thank you Bar for reminding me of what i can use all the extra art work for! I also will start covering the art table again now, so were fully prepped with gift wrap, for upcoming gift giving season! Thank you for sharing such bright cheery useful ideas! Happy Holiday Season 2017
