Yesterday, I was inspired to whip up these free printable banners for you. I started to cut out letters from colored paper, and then I thought that there has to be a way to make a printable banner look like the letters are hand cut. I adapted the Paper Cuts font by drawing over it by hand with the mouse in Photoshop. And, voilà!

I had the MOST fun picking the colors. I wanted to create colors that were happy but a wee bit subdued. And also, not too Christmassy so they could be used all year round. I love the way they turned out! Of course, every printer is different so hopefully these turn out as good on your end.
Also, feel free to mix up the letters. So for instance, there are two Os and three Es, so mix them around if it pleases you!
Supplies needed to make these banners:
~ Paper or cardstock
~ Scissors
~ Tape

How to make your Free Printable Banners:
Step one: Print out your letters. I used regular printer paper, but if your printer allows card stock, use that! You can choose to do all the banners, or just one. Each letter is 6″ X 8″, but you can also shrink these letters and make little banners that could fit into an envelope so you can send them in the mail to a loved one. How cool would that be?
Step two: Cut out your letters.
Step three: Punch holes in the corners of each letter.
Step four: Cut your twine and weave in and out the holes. I wove the twine so that most of it was in the back. I put a piece of tape on the back so that the twine wouldn’t move around.
Step five: Hang it up!
Easy peasy. I hope you enjoy this simple decoration!
