Coolest technique ever to make gift tags!! I can’t stop making these, I literally have a hundred gift tags so far. It’s just so easy and they are so pretty and it’s SO FUN to use the punches!! Sorry for getting spazzy with all of the exclamations. If you try this, you’ll see why.

Supplies needed:
Watercolor paper (90 lb, no thicker)
Hole punch (1/8″)
Technique:
Simply paint your paper with a stripy pattern. Let it dry completely (about one hour), then use your punches! The trick to the punches is that you can turn them over and see where you are placing the paper. After you have collected a bunch of tags, use the hole punch at the top and string through some twine. That’s it!!
Don’t wait another minute to buy these you guys. Get them for yourself for Christmas or something, make any excuse. They are soooo cool to have around. My art class kids love them, too. And we use the circles to make garland, or to use as collage material. It’s a little bit of magic. ♡

{Tip: I’ve been putting 10 gift tags in a glassine envelope and giving them away as little hostess gifts. People love a little something homemade.}
