Today my house is on Design Mom!!! If you don’t know this blog then you’ve been missing out on one of the best. Created by Gabrielle Blair, mother of six, Design Mom is where motherhood meets design. Her daily inspirations are widespread and cover everything from DIY projects, book reviews, family-friendly travel (she moved to France with her kids and husband for 2 years!), modern parenting, and home tours. She started a series called Living With Kids and that’s where my home has landed today. Lucky me!! Gabrielle and her husband (who is a film maker) also started a weekly video series called Olive Us that features her beautiful, creative kids and is just so charming. I want her to be my mom!

I am a Design Mom reader and fell in love with your home and style from today’s post! If it’s not too much trouble, would you mind telling me where you got your dining room table? It seems like I’ve been searching for ages for the perfect table (I’m about to buy my first ever house!) and I think that’s it!
hi liz, welcome to my world!! thank you so much for clicking over to my blog and for leaving a comment. it means the world to me! so as for the table, my neighbor’s mother in Australia made it. sorry!!! isn’t it lovely? i never have been able to find one like it either, but i would say check Etsy vintage: https://www.etsy.com/browse/vintage-category?ref=hdr. it’s just a sub-category of Etsy but I have found a few gorgeous pieces through them. good luck with your new home…what an exciting milestone!! xoxo bar
I am a Design Mom reader and saw your post on her blog. I love your style and philosophy! I especially loved the Teddy Roosevelt quote that you mentioned. We are an average young family living in an affluent area and I can completely relate to what you were saying. Thank you for the inspiration! You have a new follower!
