I’ve been gathering a list of Etsy artists for a few months now. Etsy has soooo many artists, and many of them are…well, not my taste. But some of them are quite talented and have lovely collections of work. This week and next I will post some of my favorites so that you can (perhaps)…
Living with Kids
If I Had a Store // No. 1
I dream about owning a shop, oh, just about every day. Pinterest has allowed me to live out my fantasy, without buying merchandise or paying rent. Are you crazy about Pinterest like I am? You can follow me and my obsession if you’d like. If you are not a pinner (I envy you), well then…
Why Art in School Matters
A little something to think about this week on the subject of art for kids (my favorite subject). I came across an article in the Boston Globe about the importance of teaching art in school in this era of standardized tests. If you have the time to read the whole article, do it. It’s not…
XO – In My Room

Growth Table
This table caught my eye when I saw it on Handmade Charlotte‘s blog. It’s so cool!!! I am trying to think of a way I could build this…and where I would put it in my house. In our art room, we have always had a low, round table that is perfect for ages 2 to…
Red + White + Blue
Today I made a collage of my own personal photos. I have always loved reds and blues, but now these colors have a whole new meaning in my life. Two years ago, on July 3rd, I was sworn in as a US citizen. It was about time! I had put it off for years, thanks…
